CHANGE TO CONSULTATION FEES AS OF 1ST JANUARY 2022
Starting from 1st January 2022, we will be introducing more Mixed-Billing for your consultations. As such, a small gap fee will likely be payable, but we are aiming to keep your overall ‘out of pocked’ expense to a minimum. Weekend fees will remain the same as our 2021 pricing.
Our Practices have been primarily Bulk-Billing since their inception. However due to increased costs associated with delivering services, this transition is necessary to continue providing you and your family quality healthcare.
Bridgeman Family Practice and Warner Lakes Family Practice have chosen to continue to subsidise your healthcare by setting our fees lower than the current recommended fee schedule set by the Medical Association of Australia (AMA).
We accept EFTPOS, credit cards and cash for your convenience. Please make sure you link your bank details with your Medicare card in order for the rebate to be deposited into your account within 48 hours. We will lodge the claims online after your consult for your convenience.
To help us reduce your waiting time for appointments, we kindly ask that you discuss only one item with your GP during a standard 15 minute appointment. If you need to address more than one issue, please book a longer appointment with your GP.
Please note: Bulk-billing services will continue for patients aged 16 years and under; and all valid Concession Card holders*. Please show your current concession card at each appointment.
